Options – Materials & Finishes

We offer a large range of standard options with 1000s of possible combinations. This allows you to create a truly unique item. If you require something different than shown then please get in touch.

Metal Finish

Choose from our standard hand polished raw steel finish or any RAL colour. All powder coated finishes are matt unless otherwise specified. We powder coat all of our steel using our in-house facilities, please enquire for more details.

Raw Polished

Hand polished mild steel with a distinct patination. Clear matt powder coated to offer a durable finish that allows the natural raw finish to shine through.

Solid Ral Colour

Items will be powder-coated with your choice of RAL colour.

Wood Type

We predominantly use Oak or Walnut as they are durable hardwoods ideal for furniture. Please contact us if you require something different.

Oak - Character Grade

Our standard European Oak option has a lovely natural mix of inter-grown knots, pin knots, heart shake, splits, cracks and colour variations. A great choice for an authentic vintage look.

Walnut - American Black

This beautiful wood has a distinct purply chocolate brown colouring, usually with a strong grain pattern but mostly quite straight. A refined premium choice for the luxurious look.

Pine - Thermowood

This is a specialist Scandinavian Pine that has been super heated to make it dimensionally stable and resistant to rot/fungi. It also does not secrete sap or resin making it ideal for outdoor furniture. This is an environmentally friendly material which is sustainable, recyclable and free from chemicals.

Choose from a selection of wood styles to suit your requirements.

Plank

The separate plank style provides an authentic industrial look. All boards have rounded edges and corners making them smooth to the touch.

Jointed Slab

For a smooth surface our jointed slab is the perfect choice. Planks are carefully selected and glued together to form a single panel. All outer edges and corners are rounded making them smooth to the touch.

Jointed Planks

A mixture of the plank and slab option. This involves jointing the planks together after rounding off all the edges. This creates the plank look whilst ensuring no gaps will appear between the planks. An ideal choice for round or irregular shape tops.

Full Slab

Embrace the beauty of the wood with the full slab option. Featuring live edges on two sides which are sanded smooth.

Wood Colour

Our carefully created range of wood colours can be used to personalise your new piece of furniture. For a natural look simply choose the clear finish or if you can't decide then pick any combination of colours.

Natural

No wood stains are applied only a clear coat of Danish Oil. The natural colours of the wood are left to shine through.

Light Vintage

A dark base coat is applied then sanded right back. This brings out definition in the grain and is finished with a clear coat of Danish Oil.

Dark Vintage

A dark base coat is applied then sanded lightly back. This brings out definition in the grain and is finished with a clear coat of Danish Oil.

Medium Oak

This option sits in the middle of our colour range. Not too light, not too dark and clear coated with Danish Oil.

Dark Oak

A popular choice offering a rich depth of colour and contrast. Beautifully finished with a clear coat of Danish Oil.

Antique

A very dark Brown that is both luxurious and classic. Finished with a clear coat of Danish Oil.

Ebony

When Black is your colour of choice this finish is sure to impress. Finished with a clear coat of Danish Oil.

Dark Grey

A good choice if you are looking for a contemporary style. Beautifully finished with a clear coat of Danish Oil.

Light Grey

Modern and minimalist. Beautifully finished with a clear coat of Danish Oil.

Wood Distressing

We offer 5 levels of distressing from smooth through to heavy. Clean and modern or worn and rustic, you get to decide the right look for you. All options are carefully sanded providing a smooth finish.

Smooth

All knots and imperfections are filled to leave a smooth finish.

Natural

Imperfections, knots and small cracks are left to be appreciated.

Light

A few dents and marks are carefully applied to provide a natural aged appearance.

Medium

Edges of boards are worn along with light distress marks.

Heavy

Carefully applied distressing on top face and edges providing a very rustic appearance.

Pet Bed Cushion Cover

Our designers have deliberated over the best material use for our pet bed cover. We have settled on a velvet-like material that allows for easy cleaning and is certified pet-friendly.

Silver

The lightest shade, best suited to pets with lighter fur.

Tan

A tanned colour for pets with mid-coloured fur.

Charcoal

A dark almost-black colour, best suited to dark-furred pets.

Upholstery

We use vegan-friendly, leatherette on all of our chairs and sofas. We have chosen a handful of colours in this waterproof, anti-microbial faux-leather material.
